Earth environmental conditions
Live dataCurrent space-weather observations from NOAA. These conditions affect satellites, radio propagation and power grids. They are shown here as measurements in their own right — not as earthquake indicators.
Solar X-ray activity
Flare classes run A, B, C, M, X, each ten times the previous. B and C class flares are routine background activity; M and X class can disrupt radio communications and satellites.

Confidence falls with lead time. Tomorrow is usually close. Day six or seven is a steer about the pattern — whether a wet spell is coming, roughly how warm — not a reliable statement about a particular afternoon. The bands above mark that rather than leaving every day looking equally certain.
Times are UTC and values are for a single point, so a coastline or a mountain a few kilometres away can differ markedly. For anything that matters, use your national weather service, which forecasts your area specifically and issues the warnings.

What these readings do not tell you
EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH — NOT A VERIFIED EARTHQUAKE PREDICTION OR OFFICIAL WARNING.
Solar flares, geomagnetic storms and atmospheric conditions are sometimes claimed as earthquake precursors. No such relationship has been established. Space weather acts on the upper atmosphere and magnetosphere; tectonic earthquakes originate kilometres underground, driven by stresses built up over years to centuries. The energy scales and the physical pathways do not connect.
Prakruti shows these observations because they matter in their own right — to satellite operators, aviation, and power grids — and because anyone testing a precursor hypothesis deserves to see the real data rather than a claim about it. The research lab tests such hypotheses openly →
Not yet integrated. Surface weather observations, precipitation, ocean and tidal conditions, and Earth-orientation parameters from the IERS are all documented in the platform's plans but are not ingested. They are absent from this page rather than approximated.
